Hi
Im a "newly" Crohns diagnosed 35 year old man from Denmark.
When I say newly, I mean about 5 month ago they found out it is Crohns.
I still get hit with periods where this is all new and overwhelming for me, and I get really sad, but I try to stay positive.
Ive had a bit of a rough time so far, cause at first they thought I had Colitis, and gave me Asacol for it. That made everything worse and gave me a heart infection, that landed me in the hospital for 14 days.
Then they found out that is was Crohns and it all startet going better after that.
Ive been on Prednisolon twice from 55mg and down.
First time when they thought I had Colitis, and second time when they found out its Crohns.
Now im on Azathioprin and its going ok.
Ive only recently startet careing about what food I eat, cause my stool has been thin/fluent for like 1 month now. (Ever since I stopped taking Prednisolon)
So my question is: Is it normal to have thin/fluent stool all or most of the time? How many go back to 100% normal firm stool?
Thank you for a great forum. Ive already been reading alot in here. Some stories can bring tears to my eyes, but its all good
Hope someone can share how their "stool story/experience" is
