Hi
I wondered if anyone could help me with my next steps.
I have an appointment to see the surgeon on Thursday (only because I was under her care when I was admitted with Gastris/Duodenial (secondary to the Crohn's).
Before being admitted, I was on Pentasa (but not really taking it) for a number of years. Since leaving the Hospital a few weeks ago I was given Salofalk instead and Omperazole and after an appointment with my GI I was given Budesonide which I understand is an Entocort.
None has helped really, although the sharp pains and reflux has gone. My BM is very much the same even being on the Budesonide which is have been on for a month now and down to 2 tablets instead of 3.
I had a barium follow through a couple of weeks ago and they said it was not a blockage but could see inflamation. Didn't really tell me much more.
When I go on Thursday, I will know for sure what it is but wondered what the next steps may be. Has anyone been in a similar situation?
