And I don't know if I am really excited about it. Doc thinks that I probably have scar tissue on the outside of the lining somewhere that is causing my intestine to not expand properly - rather than having a stricture on the inside. So that would explain why no one has ever seen anything - but I keep having the symptoms of a stricture. This doctor actually listens and finds a reason for my symptoms, rather than just blowing me off and saying that I don't really have that symptom. (Yay!!! I love that!!!)
Anyway, he said that I have a 10 cm section of my colon that has no normal tissue in it. He said he doesn't think it is a bad thing, but he is waiting for the pathology report. Then he will write me a letter and let me know what he recommends. I can't see that it is good to have "non normal" tissue sitting around. It isn't absorbing correctly, it isn't pushing the wast material correctly, and it is kind of messing me up. I also worry about it turning cancerous. Shouldn't I take it out just because it isn't normal???
So many questions, and I hate wating for the letter. I wish I could go in and we could talk face to face. But, this si what he likes.
