I know that alcohol is practically forbidden with crohns, but that shouldn't mean you can't have a beer right? Is it okay to drink non alcoholic beer? Or will it still be bad for you

Each person is going to react differently Alec. Some here are o.k. with alcohol, some aren't. Some are o.k. with spirits, some beer. You won't know if you don't try unfortunately. If you are going through any sort of flare, I would suggest staying away though. It's just a whole lot easier to deal with only one set of issues at a time.

As stated above the toleration of alcohol varies person to person here. A non alcoholic mock beer is fine if you can handle the carbonation. If the carbonation causes gas or pain it's probably best to stay away from it or let it fizzle.

This may sound strange perhaps but my gut seems to dislike the last batch of alcohol-free beer I bought more than it dislikes the odd glass of alcoholic shandy.

I guess it's a case of trying it and see if it suits you.

to be honest ive found certain types of lager are fine. because of different types or measures of types of ingredient . ie Spanish lager I can drinks and have no issues. san Miguel but Carlsberg . becks rip me apart ! I also read somewhere the same fact

It's funny that you mention Becks because that's the same brand of alcohol-free beer I've bought that my gut seems to dislike so much.

If I have shandy it's usually Stella or a lager from a more local brewery.
