I was in ER this weekend with moderate pain in my right lower abdomen. I started in urgent care and they sent me directly to ER. I am allergic to the dye they use for CT, so they initially did an ultrasound. There was a lot of fluid in my abdomen and I was told the leading diagnosis was ruptured appendix. Then, they told me they wanted to do a CT with no contrast. CT was done and the doc came in and told me my appendix was fine, but I have Crohn's disease. I am to follow up with my GP to get a referral to a GI and surgeon. I am so scared!! I am reading everyone's stories and terrified. I am in a lot of pain and they sent me home telling me to take tylenol. I have hardly had anything to eat in the last couple days. I am so tired. I have talked to my family and this runs in the family. I feel so sad for everyone dealing with this and I DO NOT WANT IT!
