Ok so im 17 got diagnosed last year and have been on prednisone for most the time (just got off it) take asacol, 6-mp, calcium with vitamin d and a multivitamin and im begining to take remicade regularly

im not sure how long ago but it seems that after i stopped the prednisone (could be a coincidence) my lower right thigh gets numb A LOT and sometimes itll hurt, its like the bottom half of it above my knee. of course ill ask my doc too but im not gona see either of my gi's for a little while.

i was thinking it might be that my right thigh is fatter than my right thigh and my jeans are too tight on it or something (ive gained like 10 pounds since my inflamation has gone away in my colon and small intestine.)

has anyone else had thing? ive also had my arms go numb a lot but not as often or as painful as my right thigh.

so this might be weird but i just has symptoms like that my inner thigh down to my knee tingled and hurt. a few days later i got red marks on my leg and turned out to be shingles which people who are on immuninospresents get more often. not to freak you out at all.

good luck!!!

i dont think its shingles is there anything else it can be? i just googled it and apperantly you cant get it if you havnt had the chicken pox and i have never had it. any other idea?

During all of this has anyone tested your vitamin B12 levels? If your legs and arms are going numb, it could be peripheral neuropathy which is often due to vitamin B12 deficiency which is common in Crohn's Disease patients.

P.S. I grew up in Alta Loma :)
