I hope I am ok to post this here. I am a little nervous.
Last week I found out my mom has cancer. My stress was overwhelming and I began to have physical symptoms from the news( lack of sleep, throwing up, Diarrhea). It lasted for about a week while I tried to adjust to the news.
I started feeling very tender in the bottom area. With going to the bathroom so much I felt irritated and sore . I know this can be common with Diarrhea so I thought nothing of it but while cleaning I noticed I seem swollen in the six 0 clock position around the anus. I can't see it but I feel something in that area that is enlarged and tender. It is uncomfortable but not unbearable. I went to a clinic today but they were full. I am going to try to see a doctor asap about this but it might take me a week or so to make it in.
I did have a fissure a long time ago as a teen ager.
I was wondering could this be a swollen fissure? or infection? I can't see what is happening there so I have been a little nervous and freaked out about it. I have had some itching and after wiping there has on occasion been some bright red blood but its not all the time.
