I have been on liquid only diet for the last 2.5 months and have just started my phased re-introduction of food. Just on the white fish/rice/boiled potatoes at the moment. Very well cooked root vegetables to be added this week. I am having to avoid sugar as much as possible as the steroids have made my sugars run quite high.
The booklet from the dietician goes through the various phases of re-introduction but doesn't mention oats and I really fancy some porridge (even if has to be made with water). I know weetatbix is a no-no but wonder if oats ok being soluble fibre.
Does anyone have any experience or knowledge as to when I can add this in ?
