This article is a few months old and written by a conservative Virginian. I don't even know how or why I came across it but it infuriated me so much as did some of the comments.

How dare this woman suggest we are spoiled for needing restroom access and that if we can't get our way we cry for a law. This woman also didn't get her facts straight because Ally's law is about a GIRL named Ally who had the problem and started the fight not a boy as this moron indicated.

I'm sorry but I hope this ____ develops vicious diarrhea.

Hmm...looks like the best way to raise awareness(specifically to her) would be to inundate her with literature, studies, pamphlets, awareness videos and the like, the more graphic the better. I don't know the specifics behind this bill she speaks of but the tone of her article is both arrogant and condescending. As it is blatantly obvious she did zero research about IBD I think a monsoon of IBD awareness literature at her door step would indeed be a reasonable response from those affected.

I'm surprised that the young child was turned down to use the restroom at the retail stores. That's bad for business. I've not run into that problem when I've had an emergency. Businesses have been accommodating for me, up to this point. I can recall being chewed out pretty good and publicly one time at a gas station by a lady working behind the counter for "messing up" her newly cleaned bathroom, but that has been the worst of it. Didn't care for that.

She seems to be mostly basing her argument on having once witnessed someone pretending to need a bathroom and then robbing the staff. So her solution is to deny members of the public access to staff bathrooms? So if someone robs a shop we should stop allowing members of the public into shops?
