Ok Im Scared again!!!!!!!

I have been having joint and muscle pain for awhile now. Since I am a hypochondriac on Sunday I went to the er had blood work and my wbc was 6.1. I got sick since then and had normal blood work done 4 days later and it was 4.5. I am only taking Pentasa. Please if anyone could give me advice.

Hey, I'm in the Chicagoland area too! I, too, just got out of the hospital with a partial obstruction and my blood work was normal. I'm in Edison Park right now, but possibly moving to Vernon Hills in the next couple months.

Hi Mary ~ I have a lot of joint & muscle pain due to Crohn's. It can be really bothersome and incapacitating. The severity of it is linked to the level of
inflammation I have in my small bowel at any one time.

I can keep the inflammation down, so the joint & muscle problems are more tolerable, through keeping to a diet :- Specific Carbohydrate Diet, low residue, and low histamine. Dairy products, gluten, and anything acid like tomatoes & citrus fruit are often the worst offenders.
