If you are a driver and had an operation, how long was it before you felt it safe to drive.

I did after two weeks although they told me four. I was very careful and made sure I could hit the brakes without it hurting so thought I was okay. Getting in and out was still a bit awkward

Different for everyone of course.

I began driving again today, to work and back. I had surgery a week ago yesterday. Although I begged for early release. in my best interest another week would have been MUCH better. I always push too fast though - like my family, work, etc...can't revolve without me. UGH, gotta get over that. Judge what your body is tellng you, not what you want it to tell you.

I think it was about 4 weeks for me
