orchestra in my belly

for the last few months everytime i lie over my belly jus keeps spittin and gurguling,sometimes when i push a part of my belly it just starts erupting, anyone got any ideas whats going on??

I don't really know what it is, but mine does it all of the time too! I'm guessing its just gas or stuff moving through the intestines. Sometimes, my belly sounds like water running through pipes in the house, its really weird, embarrassing, and just plain annoying!!!!

Yep, I get the gurgly gut sounds too! It's worst when I lay down flat on my back. I'm having an MRI next week, so I'm assuming I'll be laying on my back the whole time - I'm expecting a lot of gurgles to happen then!

I don't know - probably just air bubbles, although I don't know what causes them to move around and make so much noise!

This has a name! It's called Borborygmi.

have a read thro this, there's nothing to worry about! Think of it as gas and air going backwards and forwards.

I have been having the same problem lately. I'm laying on my bed right now and my belly is talking to me. It's really annoying and it can be pretty painful at times!!
