Hi! I'm in the hospital. With a heart problem. And wondering how many of us have Crohn's, and also other sicknesses! I had bypass 4 yrs. this June , PSC, a liver disease and need a transplant,I suffer from, depression before my heart problem, anxiety, and of course CROHNS.if we could have a support group or just talk! It would help. All these things attacking our body's hard to figure out what's what to treat in each area of our body.one dr. Says no it not your liver. Other no it s not your heart. By this time it's been 4 days and no relief or blood work set up . You could just cry! What doctor do you call? ?? And your recovery takes longer. Or if one dr order meds or stop one the other dr gets mad and your in the middle . Been their done that haha!! Ok hey out their lets talk so we know we are not alone with is . Take care will be reading this staying over at the hospital. Maria:smile:

Hi there,
I am sure your doctors will work together to help you. It is not easy dealing with a number of conditions I know , as I was in hospital before Christmas. Just take one day at a time. I hope you feel better soon. Best wishes.

Hey, I know the feeling. I have a progressive neurological/rheumatological condition and endocrine problems. It's often difficult to work out which condition is causing which symptom, especially when you add in all the medication side effects as well.

Are you still in hospital? How's it going?

Thanks for the hugs! Yes I'm still here hop to go home today! Let you know what's up soon. :ghu

Thanks you guys . I'm home now all is well. Lots of warning comming from meny doctors. Not looking forward to office visits and the changes they made. It's my body I feel it every day . It's hard seeing that heart scar what the trauma my body went though. I think what all guys go though with Crohns surgery. I feel for you. I take one day at a time . I'm in remission witht Crohns but my body's fighting other stuff. Keep on going on !!!! :ghug:Maria

Crohn's 1997
Hashimoto's 2008

liver, back, hands, uevitis, rashes all seem to be autoimmune.

Dr.s looking at lupus or Ankylosing spondylitis, as my next conquest.

Seriously not having any fun. I hope they get you straightened out soon :ghug:

Hello Mdd, I don't really have much advice, but I wanted to wish you well and I hope you get everything straightened out soon. I am going to tag the forum admin, Jennifer, she might be able to give some good advice

Hi Maria
Glad to hear you are back home. Hospitals are not fun.
I have to agree with you that it is very confusing when you have a list of health issues. It was many years before my Crohn's was diagnosed (20 years of bloody D..... talking bowls full of bright red blood on a regular basis) and in that period I really lost faith in the healthcare system. I always dreaded dr visits because I had so many issues that seemed unrelated and I was written off repeatedly as my case was so confusing, too much work. Seems like we have to diagnose yourself and then find a specialist? Thank God for the internet. I suspect that it will be centuries before health care actually evolves to the point that a patient can rely on getting proper care. I can see our descendants shaking their heads about us calling today's health care as "modern".
Thinking of you
Suni
