Hi all. Ive been taking aggressive amounts of Asacol, 800 MG, 6 pills a day, and most of the symptoms have dissapeared, including abdominal pain and using the restroom 15 times a day.

HOWEVER, the fatigue is still killing me.

Does this make sense? My blood levels are all normal, and I the crones looks like its in remission based upon a recent scan, but I dont know why im still so darn tired. Its driving me nuts!!!

Hey Hamster (cute name) Fatigue is one of the the unexplained symptoms at times.. people have had their Thyroid checked, b12 levels, Iron and sugar and some from sleep apnea. Some people just dont get out of the fatigue. Do you exercise any? Get at least 8 hours sleep and eat well generally? Let us know what you are doing about blood work. Sorry not much help. :hang:

I am mostly ok in all the areas you mentioned except exercise. Problem is, I am so tired, I cant even think about exercise. I havent been checked for Sleep Apnea, but I don't think I have that... I think my wife would notice that if I did.

I will try B12... but the bloodwork didnt show any sorta malnutrition or deficiency.

I get about 7 hours of sleep, I guess that could be an issue. I will try and get more. Thanks for the feedback.

Good ideas from Pen. I often sleep 8-10 hours and take a multivitamin with iron because that has a tendency to be low. I can barely get through the day on less than 7-8 hours. My dr. said my tiredness is part of the crohn's but I'm at a good enough level that he doesn't want to add more immune suppressants yet. Vit. D deficiency can make people tired too. Have you asked your dr. about your tiredness?
