Hi. I'm an 18 yr old girl. And I recently started my year abroad. I also have IBS.
I've been really constipated for about 1.5 weeks now. I've tried suppositories, mirilax (I've increased the dose bc I take every night anyway) and an enema. The enema worked the most. I went to te bathroom but I don't think everything came out.
I've had this pain in my lower right abdomen (right near my pelvic bone) for a couple days now and I think it's getting worse. It gets worse when I have a full bladder and Pee and it also hurts more when I eat. It feels like someone is squeezing my insides. It doesn't hurt all the time it only hurts in spurts. It also doesn't really hurt when I press on it.
Can someone please help me figure out what this is? Thanks

Alex, it is probably best to see a doctor. Pain, especially if it does not subside over days and is getting worse, is always an indication for an ER visit or a visit to your local GI or GP.

Hope you are getting better soon.

Hi! Thanks for asking. I talked to my gastro and we determined that it was most likely constipation. We increased my mirilax and I added 2 tsp of milk of magnesia every night for a couple days. I started going to the bathroom eiser :dusty: . They pain slowly subsided.
I also think it might have been an ovarian cyst. I'm going to keep a close eye on it.
Thanks!
