Well, at first I thought it was an intestinal virus. There have been many different colds, flu and what not going through our area.

I have had some loose stool, which did not bother me much at first, but I also started getting the sensations in my Terminal Ilium again. I know this is not anything but Crohn's doing its work. I had rid myself of this over a year ago, but here it is again.

I am speculating that the LDN is not totally taking care of my immune system problem. This is good to know because I can alter my treatment program to account for its short comings. It is not like it is affecting me in any serious way, but I want no symptoms period.

I know how to get rid of the bacteria using one method, but I am going to take this opportunity to try more refined experimental frequency treatment that specifically targets the DNA of the MAP bacterium, and H-Pylori. I started treating last night so it will be awhile before I can tell if it has any effect. Even then I have little to go on other than these two minor symptoms.

Since my wife is using the same method of treatment for her Lyme disease, I will be able to tell much easier if it works for her. She has been using it for three weeks and so far I am impressed. Time will tell for sure.

Anyway, I am not bummed out or anything. It is just a minor inconvenience that I can take care of one way or another. I am disappointed that the LDN is not taking care of this by itself, but no treatment is perfect.

I also know that most people are going through much worse problems than mine. I hesitate to even mention my piddly symptoms, but I think it is important to learn what we can from symptoms and treatment methods.

keep us posted on how you're doing. have you tested yourself out for lyme? i've heard of it spreading from spouse to spouse before.

Sorry to hear about the "hiccup" Dan.

As you say though its important to learn from each others symptoms etc so dont discount any level my friend - no matter how you yourself view them we are glad you feel able to tell us!

Keep us posted on how you are doing ok?

Hope both you and your good lady are feeling a bit more "chipper" soon.

I've always thought that is horrible to one person is nothing to another and vice versa. So while I agree there are members suffering much more than some of us there is no reason to not note it and talk about it with people who fully understand. Keep us updated and hopefully it'll quickly pass.

Thank you for the kind words.

I am quite sure I do not have Lyme, as I am very familiar with the symptoms. I also treat after all of my Deer Tick bites. It is an epidemic around here. Now my nephew has it. His father had it and my wife's sister probably still has it.

The tests are only 70% accurate at best. The lack of a positive test is why my wife was never treated properly in the beginning.

I am doing fine. I have not had any more episodes since my post, but it can come and go. I will be fine, and I will get back to 100%. I was hoping LDN would keep a lid on this by itself, but apparently it is not going to work that way. I always have contingency plans since I am not particularly trusting of any treatment.

I guess we can never totally let out guard down. I think the fact I have to always be paying attention to possible symptoms is kind of annoying. It would be nice to forget about it for a while.
