Pain relief meds

Anyone found any pain medication that works well for you for cramping? I get intestinal cramping a lot, and most of the time, Tylenol #3 works OK, but I have to take a high dosage of it to work. Vicadin isn't strong enough. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

Hi Laura
Im on dilaudid morphine 12mg. Then I swicth to oxycodone IR 20 mg. They are instant release start to work in about 15 mins. and last about 5 hrs.

I take dehydracodeine usually.

I usually take Buscopan ; but if the cramping is very severe nothing helps a lot

I have been taking darvocet for about a year now, it takes basically all the pain away but it leaves you in a zombie-like state.

I've tried just about everything at one time or another. Different things work at different times for me. It's always a try-it-and-see game. Right now what is working for me is Darvocet and Donnotol. Zombie-city, but at least I don't feel the pain.
