Painful lumps on calves?

I have 6-7 knots/lumps on the back of my legs. They're tender, but not raised or red. I feel flu-ish today...not sure if that's related. Could this be erythema nodosum? They're not on my shins, though...just on my calves.

They are red and a little raised-I couldn't see too well under my desk, but I just looked in the light.

Before I knew I had Crohn's, I had the worst pain in both my calves. I thought it was muscular in nature; some doctors thought it was vascular. The one characteristic, other than the pain, that stood out was rasberry colored lesions or spots on the back of my claves. They were not raised. The largest were the size of a quarter; most were dime-size or smaller. After an intial treatment with Prednisone, the disappeared never to return.

I have the same thing, actually started a few months after I started Cimzia, my primary dr. told me they were erythema nodosum and that I may need to stop Cimzia if they get worse. Its been about 8 months since then and I still get new bumps. They started a just a few on the back of my lower legs then I got a few on the front (those hurt worse) they last about two months and go away as new ones come in different spots, sometimes a few ontop of each other. I really do not want to stop Cimzia so I haven't said any more.

My GI did confirm it was erythema nodosum. They have pretty much gone away. No more lumps, just a slight discoloration.
