I was recently contacted and asked to inform all the members about a new study in the United States. Please consider participating, however keep in mind the study is open to people located in the US only.

GCO# 03-0141 IRB approved through 08/31/09

Research study for people with Inflammatory Bowel Disease

If you are a person who:
- Has been diagnosed with ulcerative colitis, Crohn’s colitis, or indeterminate inflammatory bowel disease (IBD)
- Is at least 18 years old
- Is English speaking
- Is currently scheduled for a surveillance colonoscopy or will soon be scheduled for one

You may be eligible to participate in a research study being conducted at Mount Sinai to investigate how people with IBD manage their high risk for colorectal cancer. Participants will be compensated for their time and effort.

If you’re interested in hearing more about this study, contact Christine Rini at (212) 659-5555 ([email protected]).

Oh Dan, it's just because we're drunk!
<3 a fellow Irish girl :) (don't let the Portuguese last name fool you - I'm only Portuguese by marriage!)
