I was recently constipated for a while but I have now managed to pass through it but yesterday I had pain and was passing quite a bit of diarrhea with a lot of mucus and blood and today I still have pain and I have only been passing mucus and blood, my bowel is swollen. The pain today is sharp and feels like something is stabbing me :( and I'm still getting horrible evening/night sweats.

I just recently passed the constipation and having lots of diarrhea with mucus as well. Sooo nauseous, and terrible pains as well. Know where you're coming from.

Feel better soon!

Hi HorseLover!!. Sorry about the late reply.

What did your doctor say about all this? Mucus (usually a sign of inflammation) and especially blood should be reported to your doctor right away. Depending on how much blood you're passing, then a hospital trip is in order.

Are you still passing blood now? Did you get treatment from your doctor? How are you feeling?

Hope you contacted your GI as well Brenden.

I did mention it to my doctor but as usual he just lets it float away, he sits there with a look on his face that makes you think he's listening but he's not really :ybatty:. I am still passing blood It's half blood and half mucus. I just got back from having an MRI scan, I feel yucky, I felt yucky this morning and have been through out this whole time I've been in this flare :( hopefully the MRI will have some answers when my doctor actually takes a look at it, if it doesn't show anything then I might request for a colonoscopy.

If your GI doesn't do anything to help you after these test results come in then you should start looking for another GI if possible. Hopefully they will get their act together though.

I did say that I wanted to change to a different GI but nothing's happened, so now I'm definitely going to chase them up about it :)
