Hi All,

I had a colonoscopy a couple of weeks ago and just got the results back in the post. They say that I've got some sort of 'extra loop' 28cm in and that it might be a fistula. They're going to give me an MRI scan to investigate it further. Does anyone have any experience of this? I'm really anxious about what the treatments might be and I'm TERRIFIED that I'll need further surgery :-s

On a brighter note since the colonoscopy I've actually been feeling physically better, but my energy levels have been rock bottom. Any advice on that would be really appreciated.

Maurice :)

Hi there :bigwave: yes I had that in my initial diagnosis and hate to mention it but it was my first resection. Dont be surprised if the MRI is in conclusive, many here dont have good luck with that. I haven't had one *knocks on wood* and told I never want one (claustrophobic)... Lets not get ahead of ourselves though, it might be ok what meds are you on ?

I'm on pentasa 4x a day. That's it. Had a course of steriods about 3 months ago and that seemed to help for a short while, but properly flared up again.
