Placing an opaque convex one piece

Okay so I've been using the sensura one piece transparent convex bags and I like them. I had my nurse order me some more and when they came today I discovered she ordered opaque instead of the clear I've been using. So now I'm left wondering how you size and place the bag properly if you can't see it? Does anyone have a tip or trick for this?

Don't know if I can help you on this one. I've only used transparent bags thus far.

I guess try sort of rolling on from the bottom and work up to the top---kind of like fold it in half and smooth it on--that sort of thing.

Ya its tricky because they aren't really bendable at all. I have a few transparent ones left. I guess I'll just practice with those and hope for the best with the opaque ones. I really don't want to waste them.

I was wondering this coz I only use clear ones but want to use the covered. I've been trying to practice with the clear but still don't get it in right place sometimes :(

For me its this. I like coloplast for the way they empty and how easy they are to clean so that gives me 3 options, click and lock two piece, flex two piece which is a sticky system or the one piece. I don't like the click and lock because the lock shows through all my clothes. I like the flex system but it seems to leak on me all the time and I can't figure out why. So this leaves me with the one piece because its low profile and easy and secure. I haven't had great luck with other brands and they are all way messier to empty and harder to clean.

O ok, i love coloplast too. The lock and click does show a little, i always wear tanks under my shirts. I like that sticky one, but i often have to release gas. and i feel like i'll wear down the "stickiness" if i keep opening it to release gas. I feel like with the one piece I can't release the air.

Not sure if I have misunderstood, but my bags are opaque. I bend the bag at the bottom of the hole. I position the folded bag carefully underneath the stoma and then roll the bag up. The stoma then ends up through the hole and the bag sits snugly around it :)

Sounds easy but I've tried it and its easier said than done. Sorry that sounded harsh I need support right now :(:(:(:( just lost my great nan yesterday;:):)( sorry didn't mean to snap :( x

Sometimes texts and things appear harsh, I sometimes think that when I read back my comments, they seem ok when I first type them. But I know you wouldn't be Rachel. So sorry to hear about your loss. What a time you are having. Lost my mother in law last week. Been such a sad time. Thinking of you xxx

Its because they are convex. You can't really bend them.
So sorry for both your losses Rachel and kaz. :(
