I can't see the whole picture so good but you should def go to dermatologist! I have pyoderma (it's healed now, thank god). My main issue was pain, it was so painful that i just lie on my back in bed cos i just couldn't move cos it hurt. I had it near my stoma. My dermatologist said that it usually makes purple edges in the wound. Do you have purple there? Is it growing fast? Is it painful?

It's very painful and there's pus too (ewww) it started from an iv when the nurse missed 3 times... sorry it's so close up my phone is dumb.....

It really could be. My doctor sais that many people could get pyoderma flare from IV spot or from blood test. If you have pyoderma, everytime your skin gets some kind of cut or just a needle hole, it can flare pyoderma :(

You should go dermatologist!

I will find one in the morning :) thank you for looking at it. What were the treatments to heal yours?

Oh, i forgot to tell. I got 60mg evil-prednison and steroidcream in it and started Humira again very soon after my surgery cos humira (and remicade) is good to treat pyoderma too. It really helped, even that i really hated take prednison so soon after my surgery (got that surgery to get off the pred, and then got this and have to take pred again :ymad: ).

This is very rare disease, so that why best thing is to get dermatologist to see it! :)

Let me know how it went! :)

I was put on 60 mg of prednisone too! I was able to tapper down to 10 mg and I just had a remicade treatment yesterday morning
