Hey all, I haven't been on here in a little while, been busy with college. I'm still dealing with my crohns, but it's tollerable. I have been riding the prednisone roller coaster for quite some time now, and I am off it but on a similar medicine called Entocort. In addition to that I'm taking Imuran and Remicade. Anyways, the reason I am posting is I am really interested in treatment with stem cells, it seems like a interesting and maybe better way to treat crohns. As of now I don't think it is commonly used, but it is under investigation.

While I was surfing the net lately, I noticed a company who is actually doing clinical trials on this subject. It seems fairly new, but it looks promising and maybe will get an FDA approval someday. Check it out:

I thought I would share what I found, any thoughts or comments?

sounds very promising. i think in the next 10 years we will see alot of diseases responding to therapy of this nature. i will definetly be looking into what all is done with this treatment and research some on how it works to get a better understanding.
