So i had surgery on the 16th i had an ileocecectomy probably spelled that wrong but my cecum and ileum were removed and my appendix. the surgery was done laparoscopicaly. i have an incision about 2 or 3 inches long horizontal right above my pubic bone. the right side of my abdomen is more swollen then the left and the right side is more sensitive, also i am having pain in my right testicle. Is this normal? anyone else have these issues? I read somewhere that the uneven swelling can be normal or it can be hernia. i see my doc on Thursday currently i am worried about this situation.

Hi there, just bumping your post, but can't offer any advice except to say that the surgery has been focused on the right side of your abdomen which might explain why it looks more swollen. I am glad you are seeing your doctor soon and hope that you will let us know how you get on.

I was going to say a similar thing, but refrained because I couldn't word it in such a way that doesn't make it sound causative. You took the words from my mouth Grumbletum!

Best of luck with the doctors, I hope all goes well!
