Hey everyone,

I was diagnosed with Crohn's Disease when I was 13 years old...now 24.
Had no problems up until I was 23, when I started getting bi-monthly small bowel obstructions.

After getting through mostly pain/surgery free, I had an ileocececomy last July. A section of my small intestine was removed at the site where the restrictions had been happening.

Since then, I've had no stomach pains and have been doing great. The only medication I'm on is azathioprine @ 150 mg a day.

The only issue I've been having is that I'm going to the bathroom 4 times a day, but it's not a "formed" bowel movement. It's always very watery like or loosely formed. I will sometimes eat and 30-60 minutes later I will have to go to the bathroom.

My doc told me this was to be expected as I have a section of my SI removed. He suggested I take something (like Imodium) before I eat to help control it.

I am just wondering if anyone else has had this issue and tried the Imodium. If it helped, I'd be more inclined to give it a shot, but I'm worried that it may be something else!

Any feedback would help greatly!
