Pre admission for scopes?

Anyone had to attend a pre admission clinic for scopes?

I asked the receptionist why l had to attend and she said the DR had requested it. I find this very strange as l thought pre admission clinics were for major surgeries.

Nope, never had that. And it does seem weird. Maybe confirm with your doc.

I'm so glad to hear this.

I found this unusual as l've previously had 2 colonoscopies (done somewhere else) and didn't have to go to the pre admission clinic. Thanks again..now l can stop worrying.
