Just wanted to voice how much I dislike this pre-surgery prep. I knew what I was getting into, since I have had a number of colonoscopies before. Just wanted to vent...boo!

I couldn't get the prep down before my resection. Was supposed to drink two gallons of some awful clear liquid. Had to have an NG tube put in instead. It wasn't anything like the colonoscopy preps I had before, I could drink those fine. I'm sorry you have to prep. Hope the surgery goes well. Keep us posted. 
I just hate it, because it basically gets stuck for a while and I have to take breaks. Otherwise it will come up. Although it is very similar to my colonoscopy preps, so I guess for that I am thankful. There is no way I would get two gallons of anything down! This was 64 ounces.
At least I have it all down now. Just feel really nauseous.

I am hoping the bathroom trips slow down too.
This is my first surgery. So far I have been too busy to feel excited or nervous. The drive to the hospital is about 2 1/2 hours tomorrow, so that is when I will probably start feeling anxious. However, I am really looking forward to feeling better than I have in the past number of months.
