Prednisone help!

Been on Prednisone now for 2 days and have been vomiting all day today! Also bad diarrhea! Is this the pills or have i got the winter vomiting bug??

Its 30mg a day for 2 weeks i am on. Only 2 days in!!

This sounds serious, have you had these pills before? If not maybe bad side effects. But hard to tell. I would recomend seeing your doctor or any doc for that matter, because they will be able to try and work it out. Sorry not much help. Hope you feel better soon.

I would call your doc. ASAP since vomiting can be a red flag for Ibd ers
Also at risk for dehydration.
Pred can be hard on the stomach .
Did the Gi prescribe a proton pump inhibitor ( ppi) such as prevacid?

Hi all, thanks for your replies. I posted a double thread on this so there are posts on the other thread. Looks like it was just a bug as i didnt vomit again
