Prednisone taper

Today Ive gone from 10mg down to 5mg. Im having episodes of dizzyness and am wondering if this could be any type of side effect of the taper.

In my opinion, 10mg to 5mg is too fast of a drop though I know many doctors would disagree with me. Dizziness is a symptom of adrenal insufficiency and it's not that uncommon with such a decrease. I'd definitely give your doctor a call and see what they think.

Thank you David for the information. I almost called the dr but the dizzyness went away. I knew that this is the dosage that might give me problems so I am staying watchful. This info helps me to know a bit more of what to watch for. I will be glad when this week is over!
