For about the last few weeks, I have had one accident a week. Last week, I was up until all hours of the night going to the bathroom. I am losing weight. Would probiotics help. I have only taken it here and there because I prefer the pill instead of the powder. Would it alleviate my symptoms?

Probiotics have helped me in the past. They have to be the refrigerated kind to work, more live cultures that way. Also a few tablespoons of yogurt helps too. Sorry to hear about the accidents at night it's so frustrating way to wake up, unfortunately I know that occasionally when it's worse. I finally fought my pride and wore the depends at night when going through issues which helped me sleep.

I have used probiotics on and off myself some worked better than others vsl3 did more bad than good for me some types of probiotics and cultures you have to be carefull with.

I was using a very good probiotic called lifespace it had some type of culture that actually helped with pain and inflamation in the intestine.

I was using probiotics for a while but I honestly didn't really notice much of a difference and the bottle prescribed to me by my nutritionalist was costing about 60 euro a bottle. But maybe I was just flaring too much at the time and she put me on a lot of suppliments at once and could have been too much too soon. have you ever tried kefir, I read that it is very good and has more bacteria strains then yogurt. You can make your own once you buy the grains. I never kept it up but it is something I think I will go back to and try again.
