Hey guys,
I'm 22, have Crohn's with fistulas. My question is, does anyone have flares that do not include the stomach pains. Back before I had my abscess and resulting fistulas, my flares would be a couple days to a couple weeks of intense stomach pains and vomiting. However, this past summer I developed an abscess with turned into two really nasty fistulas. Right after that, I started Remicade and Imuran. Now, I don't have flares with the stomach pain and throwing up, I figured it was the Remicade doing it's job (I still get minor stomach pains, and subpar bowel movements). But I do have bouts of extreme exhaustion and a lot of fistula activity. They are really inflamed, red, sore and draining a lot. I am wondering if this is a new type of flare? Has anyone else experienced this? I do see my GI next month, but for the time being I figured I would ask.
Thanks!
