Hi all,
I'm in the middle of having a flare up with significant abdominal cramping and plenty of trips to the restroom. Last week, I was in the ER and they found inflammation, but not enough to admit me to the hospital. Now, I'm on Prednisone in addition to my usual Humira, Pentasa, etc.
My doctor prescribes me Tramadol for the cramping and because it helps slow me down, and I've been on it for quite awhile. However, I recently moved and had to change pharmacies, so it looks like my prescription won't be ready exactly on time like it usually is.
I'm a bit anxious about having to potentially go 2-3 days without the Tramadol, especially since I'm in the midst of a flare up. I'm hoping I don't have withdrawal-type symptoms (since I've been on it for awhile - even though I take it as prescribed). Does anyone have any advice to get through the next few days until I can fill the Tramadol? I have Immodium, Zofran and Bentyl to treat my symptoms, but I'm not sure what to expect. If anyone has advice or tips, I'd love to hear them.
Thank you!
