My name is Jim I had crohn's for close to 40 years as I look back.Have had 2 surgeries one in 1987 and second in 2006.Went 19 years after first with only and no meds and had no pain nothing after the first operation. After second had pains etc believe to do with surgren I had.About year ago my wife got me on Low does naltrexon and for year with just taking 4.5 mg pill had no pains in side.In August I started to have bad back pains in getting up in morning so I went of the Naltrexon for coupling of weeks and back on it for 2 months and still have pains in my side but still taking it.My gastrol Dr.did colonoscopely on me and said all looks great but pain comes and goes.Anybody had issues with Low Dose Naltrexon?

Hey there Jim, welcome to the community.

That's great that the colonoscopy was normal, good for you!

Which side is your back pain on and how high up on your back?

Back pain is on right side above waist.Note past 3 to 4 days no pain in side or from adhesions in small intestines maybe Low dose naltroxion is back working. If it is maybe I can live a somewhat normal life.

Hello Jim,
Did your docs take a look at your gallbladder and also did they check liver function and enzymes for pancreatitis, these organs are in the area you describe.
Feel better soon

Hello!
I just got over pancreatitis, your symptoms sound similar to mine. I was told that Crohn's and pancreatitis are linked. Do you get pain in the front as well?

My pain usually is in side but can be in front. We feel it is a gas pain. Many times I can get rid of this pain by taking Alka Selzer that doesn't contain asprin.Been using it for years and it does offer relief in short time.

Jim
