Quick update , more tests ;-(

Hey again all
Just wanted to update you all since my last EUA , thankfully they found no more fistulas I had Botox done to hopefully heal a nasty fissure ;-(
I'm keeping everything crossed that it along with anoheal works ,
Anyway I was back with my GI and he wasn't a happy camper my bloodwork showed an esr of 71 !!!! Crp of 20 and raised liver enzymes !!
So I'm off for a scope , an MRI of the small bowel and a liver ultrasound !!
I suffer with anxiety and I'm worried silly now about my liver on top of everything else ;-(
My lovely kiddies are keeping me busy thank god otherwise I think I'd go mad ,

At least they are looking after you, and keeping on top of things. Dont worry so much, stress only makes it worse. (easier said than done, I know)

Was this the first time your liver enzymes have been elevated? I don't think it is always something to worry about. i've had elevated liver enzymes for about the last year and a half straight and they haven't figured out why. there doesn't seem to be anything wrong with my liver, so try not to worry too much!

I'm trying my best no to worry and taking my mind of it by hitting the shops and killing my bank card lol x
Mandy they've been up once before a few years back and the doc didn't seem to concerned about it so I kind of got a fright when he mentioned an ultra sound my worried head can on and then I hit panic mode ;-(
I'm unbelievable for worrying I think my hubby will crack up 1 of these days listening to me , I'm just terrified they'll find something else ;-(

i know, it is hard not to worry. They had me do a few tests too to see what was going on. I had to do an MRCP (which is an MRI of the liver area) and an ultrasound. It can be scary, i completely agree! It's like what the EFF else can go wrong with me now?

I know im nearly 13 years a crohnie now you'd think I'd be used to it but it's worse I'm getting ;-(
I had so many years in remission I'm just fed up now , but I intend to solider on till I hopefully get it sorted, my husband will need new ears and a holiday by the time I get there and my bank balance will take a hard hitting but feck it I'll get there in the end hehe x
My kiddies are officially on there summer break so I'll be kept busy thankfully xoxo

When the going gets tough....the tough go shopping!!! (which is what I did last week too)

The liver is the most amazing organ in the body...it heals itself wonderfully well. If you are that worried, milk thistle does help. It certainly helped mine and my dog Chase's liver as well. (Chase had Cushings..RIP)

Good luck with your procedures. My liver enzymes were elevated and the liver ultrasoud showed that I had a slightly fatty liver.

Sounds like you have a good dr who is on top of you which is great!

Shopping and kids are great for keeping you busy!

I'll defo give the milk thistle a try I'm willing to try anything to see if it helps and I've made a promise to not even have a teeny tipple till I get sorted hehe
I'm really hoping its something minor that can be easily treated , well I'm praying actually xoxo
