So we got permission to give DS some raw veggies.
He hasn't had anything not cooked in along time years.
He tried carrots .
No stomach aches
Just pieces of carrots in his stool.
Has this happened to anyone else who had no other Gi issues ?
I guess I need to let the Gi know
Not sure ??

We haven't seen this happen with carrots but definitely other vegetables - lettuce and broccoli come to mind.

Bananas and green apple peels for Grace. She hates carrots, so I'm not sure about that one.

These foods don't cause stomach pain or GI upset that I've notice.

O eats them all the time and it is hit or miss on the coming out raw. She does say that the more she chews the better it is. My youngest non ibd daughter the same.

Gi was fine with it.
Said its ok to add more raw veggies provided the are not other symptoms other than seeing it "again".

I don't have IBD, but I do seem to have some IBS symptoms, or a sensitive stomach, or something... I have to be careful with raw carrots as they can cause me a lot of cramping, diarrhea, and do not digest... AT ALL!

Well…I haven’t seen my kids poop in yonks.

Matt doesn’t do much raw veg but with Sarah being vegan/raw vegan she does loads of veg including carrots and at times fairly delights in telling me how certain foods have changed little in appearance from the time of entry to that of exit and carrots is one. :eek2: :ylol:

Dusty. xxx

This would be a great science experiment for kids! Does anyone have a science fair coming up? :)
