Relief from nasty itching, Remicade side effect?

Hi. I have been diagnosed with Crohn's and in the past have had infusions of Remicade with very good results. Lately I have had a relapse or flare-up of my condition after very many months of wonderful health. Now my diarrhea has come back, together with urgency to go to the bathroom, stomach growling, pinching etc., and other symptoms like joint pain, swollen feet. This has happened before my next scheduled infusion at the end of July, so the doc scheduled it sooner and I had it done 4 days ago. I have developed maddening itchy feet and rashes which didn't occur in previous infusions. The doc has prescribed prednisone, starting with a high dose and tapering down over a period of weeks. Can this be a side effect of the Remicade or is something else going on? Has anyone else had this similar problem? Hoping to hear from someone...basilthecat.
