Remicade and bleeding fistula

Hi there, ive been on remicade infusions for nearly 12 months now.

ive noticed that a fistula I have has started to pass blood. It was dormant till a few months ago, it doesn't really hurt either.

just worries me that blood is coming from it. Is this normal?

Remicade is supposed to work good for perianal disease. It may be that you need to let your GI know about this new symptom. He may want to run some tests to make sure the Remicade is still working for you completely(i.e. remicade levels, antibodies levels test).

I know what ur going through I'lts been several weeks since I've had blood down there and I was feeling pretty awesome about it. Until yesterday I had a bm there it was blood on the tp paper just sucks cause when u think things are looking up something as stupid as this brings u right back to reality. But I don't understand cause it's not hurting at all? Just a lil blood in the tp paper
