Remicade and Shingles Vaccine

We were told before starting Remicade that we should NEVER get a live vaccine, now on Friday the GI specialist said he could go ahead and get the Shingles Vaccine - Friday will be next Remicade (3rd) infusion - Now what to do??

If the shingles vaccine is a live one - my GI told me not to get it. You should probably check it out with your doctor before getting it. Your GI may have forgotten that it is a live vaccine. Most aren't live.
