Remicade diet question

I'm going to be starting my Remicade infusions soon and I was wondering if any of you go by a special diet or avoid certain foods even whilst on the remicade treatment?
I'm currently on a low fibre diet and azathioprine (which I'm going to be stopping) and I'm going to be talking to my doctor about all this stuff tomorrow but I just wanted to know what everybody who is actually on the treatment is doing.

Hi Midship, I was on Remicade for about a year and a half and I didn't follow any special diet except no smoking, no apples (for some reason apples really cause a lot of gut pain for me) and not a lot of drinking. I'd do the BRATY diet when I was having a lot of pain, but other than that I ate normal. My normal diet is fairly healthy too, not much fast food or really fatty foods. Good luck with the Remicade!
