Remicade effects question

Hi all

I started remicade on Monday. I am feeling exhausted today with a burning feeling in my stomach is this normal?

Some do experience fatigue or flu like symptoms after infusion but usually that day or the next. It is different for everybody, my son feels fatigue for a bit afterwards but no longer than a couple hours and we think the benedryl he receives might play a role in that.

If the effects are concerning you give the GI office a call and run them by the GI nurse. I hope they subside soon.

how long until after the infusion does it start blocking the TNF alpha? anyone know?

hi G me, I had my infusion today and also have a burning feeling in my stomach its quite strange

The burning feeling is not so bad today. They said it would take 2-4 weeks to see improvement
