Oooh ive been invited by my hospital to take part in a research study which aims to identify genes which determine low blood cell counts caused by Thiopurine medications (in my case i developed Panytopenia from Azathioprine)

Study is called Thiopurine-induced myelosuppression in patients with inflammatory bowel disease.

Apparantly its a rare reaction and they dont know why it happens.

Just thought Id share.. taking one for the team lol
