Had my colonoscopy and upper GI this morning.

Everything looked good, no inflammation or anything else he could find.

He took a biopsy of my duodenum to check for celiac disease.

So I am relieved, he said the problems I am having could either be celiac disease or something called post-infectious IBS. Which he said if it's the latter might last a year or so and then pass and things could return to completely normal.

Thanks for all the responses to my questions etc. Appreciated.

Good to hear! Those are fast results, My doctor said it would take a few weeks to have my results from a colonoscopy

Yay!! :dance: Hopefully it will be the option that will eventually lead to things going back to normal. Even if it is coeliac disease I work with someone who has this and is fine as long as she watches what she eats- she can even have dairymilk choccie!!

Oh wow, I am so happy for you! Hopefully you will be back to your old self again soon, that is the dream of most of us here and you have the chance to achieve it
