Just got home from my c-scope. Went well. I don't remember a thing past "Wow, this stuff works fast" after the anesthesia was administered.
Here are the findings:
"No mucosal abnormalities, fistula, fissure, etc. Scattered aphthous type ulcerations in sigmoid/descending colon. 3-4mm white bases with surrounding red edges. Mucosa was edematous, reddened in these areas. Transverse colon mucoas was normal. Cecum involved with 3 filamentous pseudo polyps. The ileocecal valve was edematous and didn't permit passage of the scope to ileum. No obvious site for fistula seen. Bx. and polypectomy was performed w/ some friability noted and EBL of 20cc."
Impression:
"Crohn's disease of the colon. Crohn's disease of the cecum, ileocecal valve with pseudo polyps. No fistula seen."
So, the paperwork is being started for Humira pending a chest x-ray to make sure I don't have TB.
Glad it's done!
