I seem to develop infections on the outside of my body during a Crohn's flare. Is that typical? I had a MRSA infection 18 months ago while 8 months pregnant. The infection cleared quickly w/o antibiotics but I was given IV Vancomycin during my c-cection. Six months later had my first Crohn's flare (previoulsy had ulcerative colitis). I am wondering if the infections on the outside of my body are consistent with Crohn's disease or are they a side effect of a weakened immune system from taking Vanco?
