Just wanted to post as I feel I am back where I started years ago ....
Had a good few years or remission then a year ago began to be battered by infections galore (hip, goin, legs, swollen joints, neck, chronic tonsilitis etc etc). Round and round in circles I eventually decided to go private ....
Rheumatoid specialist and ENT .... biopsy and antibiotics for tonsilitis, Rheumatologist gave me blood tests for Lupus, RA and just about everything else under the sun! All clear but for badly reduced WBC and B12.
Signed off from both .... so the conclusion is the Crohns is back or is it??
Basically, though I am droning on, I want to hear from others who have constant hip / groin / leg / lower back pain, seems to be getting more and more dibilatating ... that with a body that seems to be constantly attacking itself, swollen fingers and dupreytens (?) contractures on my hand ....
The doc suggested the Infliximab could be damaging my immune system? Is this true?
