SAM-E for pain, depression, etc

Has anyone taken SAM-E for depression or joint pains? I popped my first 400 mg pill today of this supposedly natural Prozac.

One of the side effects is gastrointestinal disorder which scares me. Is that just cramps? I can live with that just don't want to aggravate the crohn's.

The natural supplement is supposed to be very effective for depression, anxiety and osteoarthritis.

No I have never heard of SAM-E but I googled it. It looks interesting. You just started it? I hope it works.

Day 5 now and it seems to have given me more balance but not sure it's done anything on the bones yet.
