Many people who were diagnosed with Crohn try the diet and I assume at least a part of those people who claim they are better actually are better. It's either that or the people behind the book are doing a damn good job at hyping the diet.
But, I read some studies and Celiac disease is incredibly common amongst crohn patients (some study showed it was like 18%), much more so than healthy controls. Some have both diseases, some only have celiac and were wrongly diagnosed.
I wonder sometimes, could part of the people who claim SCD helped have celiac?
I also wonder about this in regards to enteral nutrition.
