Prep today. They said she could have a light breakfast and lunch. Then its all liquid.... gingerale, white grape juice (clear), apple juice.. they said they used to allow jello, but they don't anymore? Weird, when she gave me the prep instructions a few weeks ago she said jello was fine. 4pm we start the Picosalax.. wish us luck! We have to be at the hosp for 8am but she's not scheduled until 3pm. Its gonna be a looong day.

Good luck to you and your daughter! It is such a difficult time for a child to have these problems. I was 15 when I was diagnosed, and I remember being so embarrassed in school. Please keep us updated on how she does!

She drank the pico salax pretty easily. The not eating has been hard on her, she eats constantly. I have her bag packed and I'm going to bed.

Thank you Everything went well. She drank her drink like champ and the procedure went smoothly. They didn't see anything alarming, everything looked good. We have to wait 2 weeks now for the biopsies to come back. The nurse said if we don't hear from the dr by Fri (9th) to call on the Mon (12th) to schedule an appt. Thank you all for the prayers and good thoughts.
