I know this sounds weird to ask but, is it normal for your pain to intensify while you're on your period? My right side is killing me! The pain is awful and I can't barely walk. I don't know for sure these aren't normal cramps and its all going to my back.
Should I call my doctor or just take normal cramp medicine?

Totally! I have the exact same symptoms when I am on my period too. My periods are all over the place so I can't keep up with them, then sometimes I panic like I'm having a really bad flare up but then a few days later my period starts and it all makes sense. I usually start rushing to the toilet throughout the day, my toilet trips are worse than usual, and my belly starts cramping so badly that I have to sit down. I also become exhausted, I will just be sitting there one day and this wave of tiredness takes over and I just can't function. So yeah like I say, a few days later, I come on my period- the tiredness disappears however the bad toilet trips stay and so do the terrible cramps until it's over.....oh, and don't forget the pregnant belly look that goes with it! I find hot baths with Epsom salts and hot water bottles help along with mint tea. I hope you feel better soon xxxxxxxx

It feels like someone is trying to kill me! The pain is really intense to the point I cry, I get dizzy from time to time, confused and nauseous. It's also hard to breathe and I'm sweating like crazy!!! I don't know what to do to cope with the pain besides putting something warm over my abdomen. I don't want to take medicine because it can be bad. This is awful!

Do you get these symptoms every month, or are these symptoms a one off for you? I don't get the sweating, confusion or difficulty breathing- are these period related then? Hmm perhaps a trip to the doctor or a quick call to explain your symptoms may be helpful, if at least to put your mind at rest. I would take a couple of painkillers if you can to help ease the pain a little. I had one night that was crohns/period related and I could not sleep, I was in absolute agony and if it had of carried on I would have taken myself to the hospital, so if your pain becomes unbearable or you're concerned then definitely get yourself sorted- is there anybody with you, or somebody you can call to just keep you company for a little while?
